Here is a list of some of the best breakfast joints in the south- after all, it is the most important meal of the day! Big Bad Breakfast in Oxford, Mississippi Mama’s Boy in Athens, Georgia (french toast pictured) Cafe Frederica in St. Simons Island, Georgia Loveless Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee The Breakfast Klub in Houston, Texas Fat Hen Grill in New Orleans, Louisiana Blue Grass Grill and Bakery in Charlottesville, Virginia Rama Jama’s in Tuscaloosa, Alabama What are some of your favorite spots and what do you get?  I love Eggs Benedict which is why I chose Cafe Frederica because theirs is the best in the world (yes world!).  Trust me I have tried them all over and never find one that rivals theirs.  Palmer’s Village Cafe on St. Simons is also one of my home town favorites for breakfast. They have a dish called the “Southern” when I want a twist on the traditional- poached eggs over collard greens, ham and biscuit with Potlicker gravy.  Bon Appetit!  Cheri
